Bacchus Marsh Grammar: Middle & Senior Teacher Opportunities 2027
Bacchus Marsh Grammar is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and dedicated educators to join its teaching community. These opportunities are for positions within the Middle and Senior School, catering to Years 5–12. Expressions of interest are being accepted for roles at either the Maddingley or Woodlea Campus, with commencement planned for Term 1, 2027. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Melbourne, VIC.
About the Role
Successful applicants will collaborate with leadership, teaching teams, and families to deliver engaging, differentiated learning programs. The focus will be on fostering student growth, wellbeing, and academic achievement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging, and structured learning experiences.
- Creating inclusive, supportive, and calm classroom environments.
- Utilising assessment data to inform and refine teaching practice.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress and achievement.
- Maintaining strong learning outcomes through rigorous assessment, feedback, and continuous improvement practices.
- Supporting student wellbeing, pastoral care, and positive relationships.
- Participating actively in enrichment (co-curricular) programs and school events.

Requirements
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Desirable
- A first aid certificate.
- Valid driver’s licence.

Salary
The salary range is $87,707 to $131,515 per annum plus salary packaging, depending on the successful applicant’s skills, qualifications, and years of teaching experience, as per the Bacchus Marsh Grammar Enterprise Agreement 2022.
