With 10 stores currently operating nationwide and plans for 10–15 new openings in the upcoming years, we are seeking a National Retail Manager to guide our retail network through this significant growth period.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this full-time, onsite position based in Byron Bay will oversee the commercial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic trajectory of Afends' national retail operations. You will manage three Area Managers covering Northern NSW/Queensland, Sydney, and Melbourne, with a focus on increasing sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall retail expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers.
• Drive national retail sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Cultivate a high-performing retail culture.
• Develop Store Managers and identify future retail leaders.
• Oversee operational aspects of new store openings.
• Enhance retail systems, processes, and standards.
• Collaborate with Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and eCommerce departments.
• Ensure all Afends stores uphold premium brand standards.

About You

• Extensive experience in multi-site retail leadership.
• Experience managing Area or Regional Managers.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales growth and profitability.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail is preferred.
