Superstock Food Services stands as one of Western Australia's principal independent foodservice distributors, serving a diverse clientele including restaurants, cafés, hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, and major hospitality venues across the state.

We are seeking a seasoned and driven Night Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our night shift operations. This is an integral, hands-on leadership position focused on ensuring the accurate picking, processing, and preparation of all customer orders for dispatch, while guiding a team of approximately 12 Voice Pick Packers.

About the Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will hold responsibility for the complete performance of our night warehouse operation. Your primary objectives include ensuring all customer orders are picked with precision, delivery runs are finalised, invoiced, and made ready for transport, and the Distribution Centre is secured prior to the arrival of the morning dispatch team. As the senior individual on site during the night shift, you will also be tasked with securing and locking down the warehouse upon the conclusion of each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of approximately 12 warehouse Voice Pick Packers.
• Ensure all customer orders are picked accurately and within designated timeframes.
• Confirm all delivery runs are completed and prepared for dispatch.
• Process invoicing for all customer runs.
• Generate transport labels, freight paperwork, and arrange transport bookings.
• Monitor picking accuracy, productivity, and labour efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse employees.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard casual and permanent warehouse staff.
• Prepare and manage employee rosters.
• Conduct performance management, coaching, and disciplinary discussions as necessary.
• Uphold high standards of workplace safety, food safety, and housekeeping.
• Collaborate closely with the Transport, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Secure the warehouse at the end of each shift, verifying all doors, alarms, and site security procedures are followed before departure.
• Provide regular updates and operational reports to the General Manager.

About You You are an experienced warehouse leader who excels in a front-facing role and thrives in a dynamic distribution environment.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience supervising a warehouse team, preferably in foodservice, FMCG, or logistics.
• Current High Risk Work License (LF) with demonstrated High Reach Forklift experience.
• Experience utilising Voice Picking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and team development.
• Current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).

Desirable

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience within a foodservice or cold storage warehouse.
• First Aid Certificate.
