Nursery Traders is seeking a Nursery Grade 3 - Business Support Officer with a focus on Sales and Customer Service. This role is offered on a full-time basis, with the potential for permanent employment for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, support, and advice.
• Coordinate and process sales orders and quotes.
• Liaise with a network of suppliers to source plants and horticultural products.
• Book and coordinate the despatch of sales orders.
• Process payments and provide relief support to counter and market teams as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace in line with WHS standards.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• A strong ability to follow established processes, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Intermediate computer skills with confidence in learning new systems.
• A positive work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for plants, with botanical plant identification and/or horticultural knowledge, or a genuine willingness to learn.
• Enjoyment of working in a close-knit team environment.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A quick learning ability, positive attitude, and strong initiative.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability for tasks and outcomes.
• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices and responsibilities.

Hours:

Nursery Traders operates Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm, and Saturday 8am–12pm. The successful applicant will work up to 38 hours per week, with weekend work as required.
