Office Assistant Opportunity - Legal People
Legal People is seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Assistant to join a professional and friendly team at a highly regarded CBD law firm. This is a varied, hands-on role with diverse daily tasks. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide administrative support across HR, marketing, and office operations, contributing to the firm's client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Human Resources:
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including scheduling inductions and training, setting up workstations, and coordinating IT access and logins.
- Coordinate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) renewals.
- Organise relief reception cover as required.
- Respond to general HR and office enquiries.
- Liaise with building and property management when required.
- Assist with coordinating meetings and internal schedules.
- Marketing & Events:
- Assist with the planning and delivery of client events, office functions, and social club activities.
- Support website and social media updates.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and branded content.
- Coordinate catering for meetings, functions, and internal events.
- Office Administration:
- Assist with the maintenance and coordination of office equipment.
- Collect and distribute incoming mail.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
About You:
You will possess:
- Previous administration experience in a professional services environment. Law firm experience will be highly regarded.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- A proactive attitude with the initiative to work independently.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A flexible, positive approach and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
