Mimal Land Management Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an Office Manager to lead its administration, logistics, and finance support functions. This leadership role will oversee a team dedicated to supporting remote and on-Country operations. The position offers a competitive salary, strong leave benefits, and superannuation.
The Organisation Mimal Land Management Aboriginal Corporation is responsible for a significant Indigenous Protected Area located in south-central Arnhem Land. The corporation collaborates with Traditional Owners to manage land, water, and cultural heritage through ranger programs, environmental management, and educational initiatives. The team operates from both remote locations and a Darwin office, working to achieve coordinated land management activities and community outcomes.
The Opportunity This role is tasked with leading the provision of administration, logistics, and finance support services throughout the organisation. It aims to enable both remote and office-based teams to function effectively through well-coordinated systems, processes, and team capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead administration, logistics, and finance functions across the organisation.
- Manage office operations and ensure consistent administrative support.
- Oversee logistics, travel, procurement, and asset coordination.
- Lead finance administration, including accounts, reporting, and compliance.
- Support senior leaders with executive and organisational coordination.
- Build capability, performance, and collaboration within the administration team.
- Maintain effective systems, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with organisational policies, compliance, and WHS requirements.
The role is based in Nightcliff, NT.
About You You will possess:
- Experience in office management, business administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading administration and support service teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience across finance administration, procurement, and office systems.
- The ability to develop and implement effective processes and workflows.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage across all levels.
- A practical, solutions-focused, and reliable approach.
- Experience working in remote, community, or cross-cultural environments (desirable).
- A collaborative leadership style with a focus on team development and performance.
