Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is a community with a significant history and a forward-looking vision, recognised for delivering exceptional race day experiences and maintaining world-class facilities. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join our team.
This role is fundamental to the smooth execution of raceday operations and business functions, providing essential administrative support to our Operations Management team. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced setting, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all documentation, reporting, and coordination activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential administrative support for race day and event operations.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate all administrative documentation for race days and business events.
- Design and create food and beverage menus for retail and event offerings.
- Collate, organise, and print operational materials for front-line teams.
- Maintain and update front-line procedures and clipboard documentation.
- Assist with rostering administration and staff records.
- Produce reports and ensure all administrative tasks are completed within required timeframes.
- Process and manage invoices in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented, organised, and thrives in a team environment.
- A qualification in administration, accounts, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience within hospitality, events, or a similar operational environment.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and other relevant systems.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong planning and organisational capability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
