Operations Associate Corpay Sydney NSW Full-time, Hybrid
Corpay is seeking a highly organised individual to join our APAC Operations Team in Sydney, Australia, as an Operations Associate. This role focuses on reviewing and processing Foreign Exchange transactions (FX), Beneficiary templates, and outbound Payments. You will be responsible for monitoring the APAC team inboxes, actioning tasks, and liaising with front and back-office departments. You will be a key contributor to maintaining the service levels and efficiency of the APAC Operations team.
How We Work As an Operations Associate, you will be expected to work in a hybrid office environment. Corpay will provide:

Role Responsibilities As part of a Global Operations Unit, you will play a crucial role in managing Spot, Forward, and Option deals, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer payments and Foreign Exchange Transactions (FX). You will be responsible for handling outgoing funds with one of the world’s largest non-bank payment remitters and hedging specialists.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing FX deals (Spot deals, drawdowns, deal amendments, expiry options).
- Review and Cancel/Amend/Modify Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Formatting beneficiary information and setting up international money transfers.
- Managing client ledger balances and creating client currency accounts.
- Monitoring the Transactions and Settlements team inboxes, actioning tasks, and liaising with front and back-office departments.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Providing support to other finance and accounting team members as needed.
Qualifications & Skills This position requires a detail-oriented and organised individual who can competently work autonomously and manage their own workload. You are computer literate with touch-typing skills and possess a high level of attention to detail. You pride yourself on your accuracy and have great time management skills.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
- Proficient computer skills, ideally intermediate or advanced Excel experience.
- A strong analytical mindset with high data entry accuracy.
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- Organised, deadline-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous work experience in payments or banking in an office setting is a plus. Previous payments or banking experience in an office setting is preferred, but not required.
