Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $130,000 per year plus superannuation Location: Predominantly Canning Vale offices, with travel to remote stores required.

About the Role Guru Brothers Group is seeking an experienced Hardware Operations Manager to provide leadership and coaching to store leadership teams across a designated region. This full-time position is primarily based at our Canning Vale offices, with necessary travel to remote regional store locations including Onslow WA, Meekatharra WA, and Coober Pedy SA. Further expansion is also being planned. The role's core responsibilities include driving store performance, enhancing daily retail operations, delivering strong customer experiences, and supporting sustainable growth in sales and profitability.

Key Duties The Hardware Operations Manager will undertake the following:

• Lead, coach, and support store leadership teams across multiple hardware retail locations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at improving sales, profitability, service, and store standards.
• Utilise performance data, market trends, and customer insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee store operations to ensure stores are fully stocked, clean, tidy, safe, and operating according to company standards.
• Foster a sales-driven and customer-focused culture throughout the store network.
• Improve processes, systems, stock control, labour utilisation, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership capability.
• Ensure compliance with brand, merchandising, promotional, and Workplace Health and Safety standards.

Skills and Experience The successful candidate must possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven senior operations or multi-site management experience within hardware retail.
• Direct experience in the hardware sector, such as with Mitre 10, Bunnings, or a comparable hardware retail business.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience in driving operational improvement and process change.
• Robust commercial and financial acumen, including experience with budget and P&L management.
• The ability to analyse data and leverage insights to enhance store performance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Retail Management, or a related field are desirable.
