About the Vacancy

• Manage the operations of the site for the designated shift area of responsibility to achieve operational KPIs.
• Plan labour (rosters, absences, and breaks) and equipment resources, ensuring they are matched to volume requirements with a focus on cost and productivity efficiency.
• Plan and project operational requirements for handover to the next shift.
• Advance the performance of the shift through operational flow improvements.
• Manage outstanding issues from previous shifts.
• Possess knowledge of inventory and procurement management.
• Ensure all company equipment is handled in a responsible manner.
• Liaise with other departments and shifts as required and foster a 'one team' operating approach.
• Attend meetings as required and report on operational outputs.
• Ensure the integrity and security of the operation, including control of access to stock, work areas, equipment, and the use of the WMS.
• Take on such additional responsibilities and duties as are required by management.
• Manage and lead toolbox meetings with an action-oriented outcome to empower conversation and participation, ensuring prompt action on all agenda items.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a regular presence directly and physically within operational areas.
• Fill in and cover operational roles as required.

About You

• 5 years' experience in a Senior Logistics Operations role.
• Strong planning, management, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems.
• Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement knowledge.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quality and Safety Management.
• Demonstrates excellent time management, efficiency, and organisational skills.
• Ability to build alliances and partnerships with other organisations, suppliers, and customers.
• Strong ability to lead and develop teams.
• Holds a valid forklift license.
