About the Position
The Operations Supervisor will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the daily operations of warehouse, inventory, and client support functions. This is a practical role, requiring close collaboration with the Site Manager. The position involves structuring procedures, optimising inter-team workflows, and ensuring consistent client service delivery. Key attributes for this role include accountability, problem-solving skills, and a robust operational perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily execution of fulfilment operations.
- Coordinate team schedules and rosters to ensure sufficient staffing across warehouse, dispatch, and client support.
- Provide direct supervision of the team, clarifying objectives, monitoring progress, and addressing issues promptly.
- Manage inventory coordination, stock accuracy, and stock movements.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and client support teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges affecting delivery or service standards.
- Enhance processes related to stock handling and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and consistent documentation across all relevant systems.
- Assist in managing team workload, priorities, and task assignments.
- Report on operational performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Serve as a primary liaison between operations, sales, and client-facing teams.
Requirements
- Experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination.
- Prior warehouse or fulfilment experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Capacity to manage complex, concurrent activities in a high-volume setting.
- Comfort working collaboratively across different teams and resolving issues efficiently.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in communication and reporting, with the ability to interpret data and convey insights clearly.
