A proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Receptionist & Personal Assistant is sought to join the legal team. This position is suitable for an individual with a strong work ethic, a positive outlook, and a genuine interest in the legal sector.

About You:
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of administrative experience is essential.
- Possesses strong organisational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Previous experience in legal support or familiarity with criminal law and restraining orders is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintains a professional demeanour and a proactive approach.
- Certification III in Business (Legal Administration) and/or Certification IV or Diploma in Legal Services is preferred but not essential.
Roles and Responsibilities: Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Office Management: Overseeing daily operations to ensure the office is organised, clean, and presentable.
- File & Record Management: Organising and maintaining case files, ensuring accurate physical and electronic record-keeping.
- Legal Support: Assisting lawyers with the drafting of legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
- Client & Reception Duties: Acting as the initial point of contact for clients, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities include managing phone calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments, and handling client interactions.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism, especially concerning complex legal matters.
- Executive Assistance: Providing comprehensive support to the Principal in managing daily activities and administrative tasks.
- Personal Administration: Assisting the Principal with personal administrative matters as required.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. The firm is seeking an individual who values stability and is interested in long-term growth with the company. Given the nature of the role, it may not be appropriate for law graduates seeking direct career progression within the legal field.
