Work Type: Part-time (approximately 20-30 hours per week). This position may become full-time for the appropriate candidate.

Inspirations Paint, Australia's foremost Paint Specialists Franchise Group, serves both retail and trade markets. We are expanding and actively seeking high-calibre individuals to join our store teams.

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant at the Inspirations Paint Swan Hill store.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to both retail and trade customers.
• Tint and mix paint.
• Adhere to the "Inspirations Way".
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge in paint and protective coatings, while supporting sales, stock control, and merchandising.
• Assist with deliveries as needed.
• Practice safe and correct manual handling.
• Maintain store presentation, stock management, and housekeeping.
• Ensure Workplace Health & Safety requirements are met.

This role involves frequent and some heavy lifting (over 23kgs).

Experience / Attributes:

• Demonstrated customer service with a personalised customer focus.
• Well presented in appearance and communication.
• Ability to contribute and work within a team environment.
• Proven sales experience and strong knowledge of paint and associated products is desirable.
• Approachable, confident, and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively handle customer queries and complaints.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to load and unload vehicles within safety guidelines.
• Honest, reliable, and punctual.
• Current valid driver's licence.

Relevant personal experience in the paint or hardware industries, or in home improvement projects, is preferred but not essential.

Store Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
