Pallet Controller

Pallet Controller - Mainfreight, Hazelmere

Mainfreight is seeking a motivated and reliable Pallet Controller for its Hazelmere site in Perth. This is a full-time, onsite position that presents a challenging opportunity to join a well-established, fast-paced company and collaborate with a strong team. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain equipment control for Chep and Loscam pallets.
• Perform pallet reconciliations.
• Transfer pallets to other Mainfreight sites for deliveries using the MIMS and Freman logistics systems.
• Manage nil recovery of pallets and IOUs.
• Resolve pallet rejections and discrepancies, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain and update pallet systems on a weekly basis.
• Monitor the pallet accuracy of outbound consignments.
• Educate team members on pallet processes and procedures.
• Liaise with customers.
• Manage pallet issues and dehires.
• Perform data entry for pallet dockets.
• File pallet paperwork.
• Provide support services to the logistics team.

Skills & Experience:

• Pallet control experience is preferred but not compulsory, as training can be provided.
• Competency in using 2IC, HMS, or CHEPMATE systems is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Possess a positive attitude and a passion for motivating a team.
• Exhibit outstanding people and communication skills.
• Demonstrate great organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain professionalism and the ability to work under pressure.
