About the Role

Tradewind Casual Relief Teachers are placed across a selection of primary and secondary schools. Your skills, experience, and availability will be matched with suitable schools to ensure fulfilling placements and ongoing support.

• Consistent CRT assignments in schools matching your preferences.
• A daily pay rate of $415.04 - $462.88 plus superannuation, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to maintain learning continuity when the regular teacher is absent.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs across different school environments.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Provide clear handover notes and assist with daily routines.
• Supervise students during recess or lunchtime as may be required.

Skills & Experience

• Current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• A completed teaching qualification, with training in Physical Education (PE).
• The ability to confidently manage a classroom and foster a positive learning environment.
• The ability to provide two education-based senior references, including one principal.
