McNab Group seeks individuals who bring more than just capability; we seek those who thrive in a fast-moving environment and take pride in achieving results. This role is suited for someone highly organised, calm under pressure, and who enjoys supporting a business owner-founder to ensure they are organised, informed, and presented effectively.

About the Role

The Personal Assistant will provide high-level administrative, logistical, and coordination support for the founder's personal and lifestyle commitments. This role ensures the founder is organised, prepared, and well-positioned for various professional activities and obligations, as well as private and social engagements.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with diary management and the logistics of attending commitments, including coordinating appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Arranging domestic and international travel, accommodation, and ground transportation.
  • Building detailed itineraries and managing real-time changes with composure and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Coordinating dinners, lunches, social events, and speaking engagements.
  • Managing RSVPs, bookings, briefings, and event details.
  • Preparing background notes to ensure the founder is ready for key commitments while on-the-go.
  • Handling correspondence, follow-ups, personal administration, and ad hoc tasks.
  • Coordinating lifestyle logistics, services, and other personal arrangements.
  • Liaising with household staff, venues, travel providers, event teams, and other contacts as required.
  • Handling documentation requirements, including form completion and signature organisation, and any other ad hoc duties.
  • Maintaining a high level of discretion and handling sensitive matters professionally.
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and timing issues early, and resolving them proactively and calmly.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience as a Personal Assistant with exposure to both personal and business support, with a desirable background in supporting high-net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and/or private business owners.
  • A strong background in diary management, travel coordination, and private event logistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and represent the founder in correspondence.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgement, and efficient follow-through.
  • A calm, flexible, and proactive approach under pressure.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • A professional, polished, and service-focused demeanour in all interactions.
  • The ability to protect time, manage priorities, and anticipate needs before they arise.
