Personal Banking Advisor
Hays | Banking is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor for a contract, onsite position in Waurn Ponds.
This established financial institution aims to assist customers in achieving their financial aspirations by connecting them with suitable products and services.
As a Personal Banking Advisor, you will serve as the initial point of contact within the branch network. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to discern their requirements and proposing personalised banking solutions. You will leverage your product expertise to support customers in reaching their financial objectives, interacting with them both face-to-face and via telephone. Where appropriate, you will facilitate connections with specialised banking teams. This role offers the opportunity to apply your dedication and knowledge to assist customers in optimising their finances daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a high standard of customer service within the branch by understanding individual customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Providing information and support regarding all financial service products, encompassing wealth management, insurance, home loans, and small business lending.
- Processing initial applications for personal loans and credit cards.
- Opening and closing general accounts and addressing other product-related inquiries.
- Collaborating effectively within the team, consistently prioritising the customer.
The primary work location will be Waurn Ponds, with occasional travel to support other branches in the local area, including Geelong and Ocean Grove, as required.

While this role offers a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 38 hours, you must have full availability Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
