Work Details:

• Work Type: Part-time
• Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week
• Location: Onsite, Carlisle
• Salary: $27.50 – $31.50 per hour

Rostering:

• Ability to work a rotating roster of three shifts per week, which includes Saturday mornings (3 hours).

Requirements & Experience:

• A background in customer service.
• Cash handling experience is essential.
• 1–2 years of prior experience as a customer service officer within an Australia Post outlet is preferred, though not essential.
• Capacity to lift up to 16kg of mail repeatedly and to stand for the majority of your shift.
• A willingness to function as a team player while also being comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting customer sales and service transactions.
• Accurate maintenance of cash advance, involving the processing of cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
• Promoting products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional initiatives.
• Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.
• Cultivating positive customer relationships by understanding their needs.
