MVSI is seeking a Pre-Employment Screening Administrator to join our expanding team in North Sydney. We specialise in pre-employment screening, assisting organisations of all sizes in building trust through accurate and reliable background checks. This role is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys structured investigative work within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The Opportunity

As a Pre-Employment Screening Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing candidate information.
  • Conducting various screening checks, including police checks, employment, academic, reference checks, and social media checks.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data used by clients for hiring decisions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive screening and verification of candidates, such as behavioural reference checks, police clearances, and other pre-employment compliance checks, adhering to company and client requirements.
  • Research, analyse, and validate background information across multiple platforms and systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with candidates, clients, referees, and internal stakeholders throughout the screening process.
  • Coordinate and manage a high volume of checks while consistently meeting quality standards and turnaround timeframes.

About You

While prior experience in background screening is not required, you will need:

  • A commitment to excellent service and ethical conduct.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, supported by a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • A passion for problem-solving and thinking on your feet.
  • Fast, accurate typing skills (65 words per minute or higher).
  • A talent for research and a drive to investigate thoroughly.
  • Strong time management skills and a positive attitude.
  • A sense of humour and a genuine eagerness to learn.
