Primary School Relief Teachers - Australian Islamic College Thornlie
Australian Islamic College (AIC) is a faith-based K-12 co-educational institution serving over 5,500 students across five Western Australian campuses (Thornlie, Dianella, Forrestdale, Henley Brook, and Kewdale) and one in South Australia. AIC is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Primary School Teachers to join its relief teacher pool at the Thornlie campus.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-standard relief teaching at High School and/or Primary School levels.
- Engage and inspire students.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to teach at High School and/or Primary School level.
- Ability to meet the following criteria:
- Hold current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).
- Possess the right to work in Australia (Perth applicants only).
- Hold a current Working with Children Card.
- Demonstrated conviction in:
- The existence of God, to whom we are constantly accountable.
- The importance of academic achievement and morals in schools.
- Teaching as a vocation, not just a job.
- Placing a high priority on literacy and numeracy skills.
- The priority of a caring, supportive environment.
