Project Administrator

As the company expands, we are seeking a proficient and driven Project Administrator to become part of our Head Office cohort. About the Role
We are recruiting a motivated and exceptionally organised Project Administrator to join our expanding team. This role is suited for an individual who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, possesses meticulous attention to detail, and finds satisfaction in assisting project teams to facilitate the successful provision of heavy plant and equipment.
In this capacity, you will be instrumental in reconciling project documentation, providing support to project staff, engaging with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative assistance to project personnel and site teams.
- Coordinate the onboarding of employees, subcontractors, and plant & equipment.
- Coordinate and oversee project compliance documentation.
- Assist in the coordination of equipment and personnel for projects nationwide.
- Support tender submissions and contract administration as needed.
- Engage professionally with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and project records.
- Update reporting records, including weekly and monthly project reports.
- Update and reconcile monthly payment claims.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or reception role is desirable.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel are essential).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of ISO systems or HSEQ compliance is a bonus, with training provided.
- Construction industry experience is a significant advantage, though not essential.
