Seymour Whyte is undertaking the Coomera Connector Stage 1 South, a significant infrastructure project designed to enhance transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. This stage will introduce new crossings over the Coomera and Nerang Rivers, aiming to alleviate congestion on the M1 and provide an alternative route for residents in developing areas like Helensvale and Coomera.
We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our team, fulfilling a crucial role in supporting the commercial operations. This onsite position, based at our project office in Ashmore, will involve responsibilities in job costing and invoicing, alongside assistance with site logistics, documentation, and reporting to ensure smooth project progression. This is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity for an individual who enjoys variety and excels in a team setting.
About the Role:
- Accurately verify and record delivery dockets, purchase orders, subcontractor details, timesheets, and invoices within the job costing system.
- Support procurement activities to facilitate the timely provision of materials and services for site operations.
- Maintain current registers for vehicles, plant, equipment, and staff leave.
- Assist in the management of progress claims and subcontractor payment schedules, including certificate preparation.
- Draft and compile project-related correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
- Coordinate and organise project meetings, events, and associated logistical arrangements.
- Undertake general project administration tasks as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated previous experience in administrative roles within the civil construction sector, including exposure to job costing, purchasing, and accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and job costing systems (such as Connect or Xeno).
- Strong organisational capabilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
A current Driver’s Licence and personal transport are essential for all applicants, as many of our projects are situated in regional areas.
