As the welcoming face of the clinic, you will greet patients, manage appointment flow, handle payments, assist with enquiries, and ensure the environment remains calm, organised, and professional. You will play a key part in supporting our chiropractors and ensuring daily operations run smoothly in our fast-paced, well-established practice.

We are looking for someone who thrives working with people, can handle challenges, enjoys being part of a busy environment, and is excited about contributing to the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk & Patient Experience
  • Welcome each patient with warmth, professionalism, and positivity
  • Manage reception duties including check-ins, appointment adjustments, reminders, and confirmations
  • Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and helpfully
  • Build rapport with patients and contribute to a supportive, calm clinic atmosphere
  • Administration & Clinic Operations
  • Process payments and reconcile end-of-day EFTPOS
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in reception and common areas
  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor inventory
  • Follow established systems and procedures to support clinic efficiency
  • Perform general administrative tasks as they arise
  • Team Support
  • Work closely with chiropractors to keep the daily schedule on track
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with team members
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive workplace culture
  • Assist with tasks that support patient care and clinic flow

About You

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, service-oriented, and eager to grow. You will excel in this role if you:

  • Are available between 7am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and 7:30am to 12:30pm, Saturday.
  • Are energetic, friendly, and enjoy connecting with people
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in person and over the phone
  • Are confident handling yourself in a public-facing role
  • Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Are a self-starter who takes initiative and pays attention to detail
  • Are comfortable with technology and capable of learning new systems quickly
  • Enjoy problem-solving and adapting to the needs of the day
  • Take pride in a clean, organised, professional workspace
  • Are excited to contribute to a clinic that makes a meaningful impact in the Canberra community
  • Are reliable, punctual, and take ownership of your responsibilities

Experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles is helpful but not essential — the right attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to our mission matter most.
