An opportunity is available for an organised and friendly Receptionist / Administration Officer to serve as the face of the business and provide essential support across the office.
Your New Role
As the initial point of contact for clients and visitors, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing front of house reception, client appointments, incoming calls, and meeting room coordination.
- Providing exceptional client service, including welcoming visitors and assisting with meeting preparation.
- Overseeing daily scanning, lodgements, document management, and distribution of completed tax and compliance documentation.
- Administering ASIC company matters, business registrations, and ATO-related client enquiries, lodgements, and payment arrangements.
- Preparing client engagement packs, maintaining client records, and following up on outstanding documentation.
- Providing administrative support to the Managing Director and Office Manager, including invoicing and corporate affairs administration.
- Managing debtor follow-up, receipting, EFTPOS records, petty cash, and banking activities.
- Coordinating office operations, including staff events, office supplies, kitchen amenities, and general facilities administration.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Administration Assistant, or Office Coordinator position.
- Experience within an accounting, professional services, legal, or financial services environment will be highly regarded.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional presentation and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in ASIC and ATO portal is highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.
