The Role The Lumus Imaging team at La Trobe Private in Bundoora is seeking a full-time Receptionist for our radiology department. This role offers variety, supporting a team of skilled individuals within a department that provides MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-rays, and Procedures. The position primarily involves managing outpatient appointments, with some inpatient bookings from the hospital. Department operating hours are between 8am and 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and care, including greeting patients and managing incoming telephone calls.
• Manage radiology exam bookings.
• Undertake general clerical duties.
• Maintain patient records with efficient data entry.
• Communicate courteously with other receptionists, referring doctors, and medical professionals.
• Process billing and banking for Medicare, DVA, health funds, and Work Cover.
• Provide cover at nearby departments on rare occasions to meet staffing needs.
