Regional Visual Merchandiser - Central Coast & Hunter (Casual/Part-Time)
About Habitania Homewares Habitania Homewares is a rapidly expanding independent homewares retailer in Australia, currently operating 15 stores across NSW and VIC, with further expansion planned. We are recognised for our carefully selected collections, attractive store atmospheres, and the inspiring in-store experiences that assist customers in crafting their ideal homes.
We are looking to recruit a visual merchandiser with a creative flair and strong organisational abilities to join our team, supporting a group of stores throughout NSW.
About the Role This position will focus on supporting stores within the Central Coast and Hunter region, specifically including Tuggerah, Charlestown, and Green Hills. Occasional travel to other locations may be necessary. You will be instrumental in bringing new product collections and seasonal campaigns to fruition, while upholding high visual merchandising standards across all designated stores.
You will collaborate closely with the VM Manager, who will provide direction, define seasonal aesthetics, and establish execution standards for the business. Your responsibility will be to translate these concepts into tangible in-store presentations, ensuring robust commercial results and a consistent brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and uphold visual merchandising standards across a portfolio of stores.
- Design compelling product displays that stimulate sales and elevate the customer journey.
- Implement seasonal campaigns, promotional initiatives, and new product introductions.
- Engage with Store Managers to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Educate and mentor store personnel on visual merchandising principles and established standards.
- Contribute to new store openings, refits, and store rejuvenation projects.
- Furnish regular updates and reports to the Head Office team.
About You
- Previous experience in retail visual merchandising.
- A keen sense for colour, styling, and presentation.
- Proficiency in organisation and time management.
- Capacity to operate autonomously and manage responsibilities across multiple locations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in homewares, interior design, and prevailing retail trends.
- Possession of a current driver's licence and a readiness to travel.
