The team works hard, supports each other, and takes pride in delivering exceptional outcomes for customers during critical times.

About You

This role is suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment, communicates clearly, professionally, and confidently, remains calm under pressure, and knows how to keep processes moving when encountering obstacles. It is not a quiet administration role, but rather one for someone who genuinely enjoys being busy and working in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You will manage a busy portfolio of insurance repair jobs where priorities shift quickly, communication is constant, and there is a strong expectation of taking ownership and driving outcomes.

You are someone who:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change constantly.
  • Can manage a demanding workload without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Takes ownership of tasks and follows through without needing constant direction.
  • Is highly organised and able to confidently manage multiple jobs, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Communicates exceptionally well, both verbally and in writing, and is able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with homeowners, trades, insurers, and internal teams.
  • Has strong attention to detail and produces clear, accurate, and professional written communication.
  • Is highly confident communicating by phone and able to manage a high volume of conversations and written communication throughout the day.
  • Can manage difficult conversations professionally and remain calm when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Thinks critically, solves problems independently, and works proactively to keep jobs progressing.
  • Learns systems quickly and is comfortable navigating multiple web-based systems, portals, and digital workflows.
  • Is resilient, adaptable, and able to bounce back quickly when things don’t go to plan.
  • Enjoys being busy, working with urgency, and takes pride in getting things done.

The ideal candidate is confident, enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and being the person who keeps things moving when challenges arise.

About the Role

This full-time role operates for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. It includes one work-from-home day per week once fully trained. Benefits include paid training, a Microsoft Surface device, a full work-from-home setup, and access to the Employee Assistance Program.

Repair Coordinators work closely with Building Supervisors to coordinate residential insurance repairs. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of repair jobs and acting as the key communication link between homeowners, insurers, trades, and internal teams to ensure repairs progress efficiently and customers remain informed throughout the process. Insurance repairs can move quickly and involve a high volume of communication, changing priorities, and competing deadlines. Success in this role requires resilience, strong organisational skills, confidence in communication, and the ability to maintain momentum when challenges arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing an independent portfolio of domestic insurance repair claims within a supportive team environment.
  • Coordinating trades and repair schedules alongside Building Supervisors to ensure timely completion of works.
  • Communicating with homeowners, trades, insurers, and internal teams via phone, email, SMS, and online portals.
  • Managing high volumes of inbound and outbound communication each day.
  • Monitoring claim progress and proactively following up outstanding actions.
  • Working to KPIs and service delivery timeframes.
  • Problem-solving and taking ownership to drive jobs forward when obstacles arise.
  • Maintaining accurate records and professional communication across all systems.

You will need to be comfortable having direct conversations, managing difficult situations professionally, and taking responsibility for progressing jobs when issues arise.

  • Attractive salary package plus superannuation.
  • Family-friendly and flexible workplace.
  • One work-from-home day per week once trained.
  • Microsoft Surface device and full home office setup.
  • Paid professional development opportunities and access to a staff training and development fund.
  • Staff and family Employee Assistance Program supporting health and wellbeing.
  • Supportive team environment with strong leadership and genuine collaboration.
