Herbert Hall Hardware is seeking a motivated and flexible all-rounder for a full-time, onsite position in Charters Towers.

As a Retail Assistant, you will work across all retail and trade areas of the store to provide assistance, advice, and exemplary customer service. If you have the passion, we will provide all the product knowledge and training on the job. As we trade on a Saturday morning, this role may also require weekend work on a rostered basis.

Responsibilities will include:

• Extensive customer service, including point of sale.
• Eagerness to learn and grow your skills.
• Working between the retail and trade areas of the store.
• Monitoring stock levels to ensure supply and demand needs are met.
• A commitment to ongoing job security.
• Undertaking regular product training with reputable brands.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a high level of accuracy.
• High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff, and site visitors.
• Forklift licence (LF) is essential.
