W Cosmetics is opening a new store at Lakeside Joondalup and is seeking enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join the launch team. As one of Australia & New Zealand's rapidly expanding beauty retailers, W Cosmetics offers a curated selection of trending K-beauty, J-beauty, and global beauty brands within vibrant, customer-focused environments.

This role is an opportunity to be involved in a new store opening from its inception, contributing to daily operations, customer engagement, and establishing the store's operational standards.

About the Role The Retail Assistant will be actively involved on the shop floor, providing excellent service, upholding store presentation, and acting as a Brand Ambassador for W Cosmetics. This position is suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail setting, have an interest in beauty trends, and enjoy creating positive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Store Operations
• Represent the W Cosmetics brand with confidence.
• Execute daily tasks and contribute to smooth on-floor operations.
• Adhere to the national daily planner to align with team priorities.
• Maintain high standards in visual merchandising, pricing, and product presentation.
• Assist with stock replenishment, organisation, and back-of-house management.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Follow company processes, policies, and safety standards.
• Sales & Customer Experience
• Deliver a consistently warm and high-quality customer experience.
• Engage with customers to help them find K-beauty, J-beauty, and global beauty products tailored to their needs.
• Develop product knowledge to support customer interactions and sales.
• Contribute to achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
• Support promotional activities and in-store initiatives.
• Team Support
• Collaborate with the team to maintain store standards and performance.
• Follow instructions from store leadership.
• Take responsibility for tasks and complete them accurately and promptly.
• Approach each shift with a positive and proactive attitude.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Retail experience is a plus, but not essential.

Availability W Cosmetics is recruiting for casual, part-time, and full-time (38 hours per week) roles, dependent on availability.
