About the Role
As a member of the Trade Counter team in Heatherbrae, you will be instrumental in assisting plumbers and other tradespeople in sourcing necessary products for building and renovation projects. This role also encompasses various tasks crucial for the smooth operation of the branch.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
A typical day will involve:
- Providing customer service and product information.
- Generating quotes, both in person and via telephone.
- Engaging in pick packing and stock control activities.
- Maintaining branch tidiness and safety.
- Conducting occasional customer deliveries using a company vehicle.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates who possess:
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, with an enjoyment for assisting customers in person and over the phone.
- The ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and ensure the accuracy of provided information.
- Computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A clean, valid driver’s licence and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
