Specsavers Ringwood is seeking a full-time Retail Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to transition retail or customer service experience into a career within the optical industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and managing appointments.
• Assisting with patient pre-testing and supporting Optometrists during eye examinations.
• Dispensing eyewear, including various lens options, and providing frame styling advice.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience, aiming for customers to depart feeling satisfied.

Further development opportunities are available upon mastering foundational skills:

• Pursue a Cert IV in Optical Dispensing with full funding provided (eligibility and completion requirements apply).
• Grow into In-Store Trainer or Supervisor positions.

Candidate Profile:

• A passion for customer service and enhancing people's lives.
• Full training will be provided regardless of prior optical experience.
• Ability to build strong rapport with diverse individuals.
• Proficiency in fast-paced environments, clear communication, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
