Retail Assistant - WH Smith Australia - Coolangatta

WH Smith Australia is seeking a casual Retail Assistant for its store located in Coolangatta. This onsite role involves providing outstanding customer service and maintaining excellent store standards, working independently or as part of a team. The aim is to ensure customers, colleagues, and the company feel proud to be part of the journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly and helpful demeanour.
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Replenish stock, maintain merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and well presented.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations.

• A passion for creating an exceptional in-store customer experience.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment is desirable.
• Motivation to achieve excellent results and maintain high standards.
• Adaptability to meet company requirements and goals.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Go Card experience is preferred.

Work Arrangements:

• Flexible shifts are typically in the afternoon throughout the week.
• Weekend work or early mornings may be required or available.
