About the Opportunity
Metcash is seeking a Retail Implementation Specialist to assist in the execution of new store openings, refurbishments, and in-store initiatives across its network. This role involves close collaboration with retailers, internal teams, and external partners to plan and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, bringing store concepts to fruition.
In this Role
- Support the planning and execution of store projects, including new store establishments, refurbishments, and upgrades within the Sydney Metro area.
- Be willing to travel as required.
- Partner with retailers and stakeholders to develop and implement project plans.
- Coordinate store layouts, planograms, signage, and in-store collateral.
- Provide guidance on equipment upgrades and store enhancements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and key milestones for multiple initiatives.
- Ensure projects meet their agreed outcomes, are delivered on time, and within budget.
You're Likely a Match If
- You have 5+ years of experience in project or retail implementation roles.
- Experience with supermarket fit-outs or refurbishments is desirable.
- You possess strong project coordination and budgeting skills.
- You can interpret plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
