This is an opportunity to join Global Fruit Supply, a retail and hardware store operating in Australia. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Manager to join our team at Stand 260, Building C, Sydney Market, Flemington NSW.

The role involves achieving sales targets, leading teams, and delivering customer service, alongside managing the store's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations to meet sales and performance targets.
• Oversee cash handling and cash management processes.
• Develop and maintain product mix, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory, budgets, and other financial aspects of store performance.
• Drive sales growth and maximise profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve business objectives.
• Recruit, train, and mentor store staff.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high service standards.
• Promote store products and services within the local community.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and relevant legislation.

Skills & Experience The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, sales targets, and inventory.
• Sound knowledge of retail hardware products (preferred).
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to lead by example.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Management, or a related field.
• Relevant retail management experience is highly desirable.
