The Butcher at Arnold’s is a busy retail butcher shop that prioritises quality, consistency, and teamwork. We are seeking a dependable and driven Packing Team Member to become part of our retail production team. This practical, fast-paced position suits an individual who appreciates physical labour, thrives within a collaborative group, and takes satisfaction in performing tasks correctly.

About the Role

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, commencing at 5:00 am.
• Tasks: Packing meat, crumbing, and preparing other retail-ready products.
• Environment: A small, fast-paced production team where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack and tray chicken, sausages, and other retail products.
• Assist with crumbing and the preparation of value-added products.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in adherence to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily targets.
• Safely lift and carry cartons and tubs, with weights up to 27.2kgs.
• Demonstrate the ability to stand for extended periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or retail is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• A team-oriented mindset.
