Hempel (Wattyl) Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Sales Assistant to join our Bexley store. This is a casual position.

We offer uniforms, training, and pay above award rates. The store operates Monday to Saturday, with no night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Address customer inquiries and process orders.
• Accurately process sales, including cash handling and EFTPOS transactions.
• Assist with the tinting and mixing of paint.
• Conduct regular stock takes, replenish stock, unpack, and store incoming goods.
• Utilise pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and other equipment for manual handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.

Requirements:

• Good customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Sales experience, preferably within a retail setting.
• High attention to detail.
• Commitment to safe work practices.

This role is physically demanding, involving manual handling up to 28kg and operating machinery as required.
