Hempel (Wattyl) Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Sales Assistant to join our Launceston Store. If you are looking to be part of a work culture that supports achieving more and reaching your goals, and can create exceptional customer experiences, this role may be for you.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customer queries and orders.
• Process sales accurately, including cash handling and EFTPOS.
• Assist with the tinting and mixing of paint.
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, and unpack/store inward goods.
• Utilise pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and other devices for manual handling.
• Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.

Requirements:

• Great customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Sales experience, ideally within a retail background.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices.

This role is a physical position requiring manual handling up to 28kg and operating machinery as needed.
