Retail Sales Assistant

UTOPIA RECORDS in Sydney NSW is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for a full-time, onsite position. The role offers $30 per hour and is available to start immediately.

This position requires a five-day work week, operating from Thursday to Monday, with weekend work being a necessity.

Our focus is on providing efficient, friendly customer service while managing multiple tasks. The role involves the continuous ordering, delivery, processing, and display of stock within our busy CBD store, alongside online order picking and packaging.

Requirements:

Attention to detail coupled with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Ability to initiate tasks and work independently.
An excellent phone manner.
Capacity to lift heavy items.
Face-to-face customer service experience, with a focus on POS operations.
Minimum of 12 months retail sales experience.
Australian work rights are essential for this position.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
A passion for heavy metal/hard rock music is a must.

Desirable:

Experience with online orders and processing, including wrapping.
Willingness to contribute across all operational areas.
Experience as a team member in a high-pressure environment.
