Retail Salesperson - Full Time

About the Role BrownWigg has multiple full-time Retail Salesperson positions available at our Meeniyan or Warragul stores. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, aiding customers in product selection, processing sales, and maintaining store presentation and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service through active engagement, understanding customer needs, and recommending suitable products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, managing cash, card payments, and returns.
• Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and product presentation.
• Restock and replenish shelves to ensure a well-organised retail environment.
• Assist with store inventory management and other operational tasks as required.
• Promote and sell additional products and services to enhance the customer experience.
• Lift and move heavy items using safe work methods.

A current forklift license and/or medium or HR truck licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Key Selection Criteria

• Excellent organisational, time management, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Proven experience in sales, including meeting targets, building and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships, and sound negotiation skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to represent the company positively, with a desire for personal growth and pride in personal presentation.
• Ability to work within a team environment, encouraging and supporting other team members.
