Sports Direct is making its Australian debut, powered by Accent Group. We are seeking a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead the launch of our fourth store in Broadmeadows. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of an iconic brand, lead a brand-new team, establish standards, shape store culture from inception, and contribute to scaling our presence across Australia.

About the Role
The Broadmeadows Central store will be led by you, inspiring, coaching, and developing a passionate team alongside your in-store leadership. You will be responsible for store performance, elevating the customer experience, and collaborating with your team to achieve results and build a successful store.
Day by Day Responsibilities:
- Drive sales, meet KPIs, and make an impact in a high-profile store launch with a premium, service-focused approach.
- Lead and empower a dynamic team through coaching, training, and goal setting.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store, team, and individual performance, celebrating successes and addressing performance gaps.
- Manage wage control and rostering to ensure business efficiency.
- Contribute to visual merchandising, stock management, and shrink prevention.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing environment for your team and customers.
What You Bring:
- More than 2 years of Store Management experience in a fast-paced big box retail environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, including understanding sales figures, wage percentages, and stock metrics.
- A passion for people development and a demonstrated record of team success.
- A high attention to detail, ensuring the store is always presented effectively.
- Operational savviness, with experience in rostering, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
- A "Make it Happen" mindset, being solutions-focused and performance-driven.
