Retail Store Manager Smiggle - Merrylands

Smiggle is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Store Manager for its MERRYLANDS location. This full-time role, requiring 38 hours per week, involves leading a team to cultivate a colourful and energetic store atmosphere that appeals to children and adults alike. The successful candidate will leverage their passion for fun products and team inspiration to drive sales, coach staff, and spread Smiggle's distinctive joy.

Availability is required Tuesday through Saturday, including late-night trading hours and public holidays.

A Day in the Life:

• Lead the team in achieving sales targets and KPIs while maintaining a fun, colourful, and customer-focused environment.
• Train, develop, and inspire team members to perform at their best.
• Maintain store presentation by implementing visual merchandising directives and executing promotions.
• Manage stock effectively, focusing on minimising loss to maximise sales.
• Foster a safe, happy, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Create rosters to ensure smooth store operations and team support during peak times.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in leading and coaching a team, coupled with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Previous retail leadership experience.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• A proven record of achieving sales and KPIs, alongside managing stock and wage budgets.
• Visual merchandising experience is considered a significant advantage.
