Apollo Landscaping Supplies is seeking a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail & Trade Counter Sales / Customer Service professional. This full-time, onsite position is based at our Coopers Plains, QLD location.

About the Role This is a hands-on role where each day presents new challenges. You will be the primary point of contact for our retail and trade customers, playing a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service. You will work collaboratively with customers, drivers, and the yard team to ensure efficient order processing and positive customer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with product selection, orders, and purchases in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
• Operating the trade counter and processing sales transactions.
• Processing purchase orders and invoices.
• Responding to customer phone inquiries.
• Maintaining and updating product knowledge, including new product offerings.
• Ensuring the retail floor and trade counter area are well-stocked, tidy, and visually appealing.
• Providing feedback to management on customer needs and market trends.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

The successful applicant will undertake an initial 3-month casual probation period, with the potential to transition to a permanent full-time role upon successful completion.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably within the landscaping, hardware, or building supplies industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Excellent product knowledge and a drive to continuously learn about new products and industry trends.
• Confidence in handling cash, good numeracy skills, and the ability to maintain accurate sales records.
• Punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
