Roster Support Officer Department of Health - Queensland Cleveland Full-time, Onsite

Your New Role: You will be instrumental in the delivery of fair, accurate, and compliant rosters, supporting safe, high-quality care at Redlands Residential Care.

As the Roster Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive end-to-end rostering support, ensuring adherence to awards, EBAs, and Queensland Health rostering policies.
  • Coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes for the casual nursing pool, encompassing advertising, scheduling, and pre-employment checks.
  • Managing daily staffing requirements, such as processing sick leave notifications and allocating clinical staff to ensure service continuity.
  • Assisting with establishment management tasks, including leave verification, employee movement requests, recurring allowances, and technical system support.

This is a Permanent Full-Time role at Redlands Residential Care.

About You: You are organised, proactive, and excel in a dynamic environment where accuracy and effective communication are paramount.

We are seeking an individual who possesses:

  • Knowledge of, or the capacity to rapidly acquire, an understanding of awards, EBAs, and organisational rostering policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address rostering and workforce management challenges.
  • High-level organisational skills and resilience to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to foster effective working relationships with nursing management, staff, and stakeholders.
