Freight Specialists Pty Ltd, a national logistics organisation with over 35 years of operation across Australia, is seeking a genuine leader to manage its South Australian business. Our brand is recognised for safety and quality of service.

This full-time, onsite role is based in Green Fields, SA. The salary offered is $120,000 – $130,000 per year.

The Role As the SA State Manager, you will be responsible for the operations team, fostering a positive culture, overseeing safety, and driving P&L performance for the South Australian operations.

Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead all state-based logistics operations, including warehousing, transport, and last-mile delivery, with a focus on both performance and people.
• Build a culture where frontline teams are heard, valued, and developed into the company's next leaders.
• Own P&L performance for the state, managing costs, revenue targets, budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive operational safety and compliance across the site, operations, and fleets.
• Partner with national leadership to shape strategy and translate it into action on the ground.
• Represent the business with key clients and stakeholders, developing long-term partnerships.

Additional Support This role is supported by:

• An Operations Manager onsite.
• Technology including:
• Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Transport Management System (TMS)
• Pallet Management (2IC)
• A National Safety Manager onsite to support compliance, safety, and quality standards.
