Battery World Castle Hill is seeking a driven, sales-focused individual to join their team. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary range of $27 – $40 per hour.

Battery World is Australia's premier battery specialist, offering expert advice, testing, installation, and replacement solutions for a diverse array of applications. At Battery World Castle Hill, services extend beyond automotive batteries to include solutions for marine, motorcycle, caravan, camping, mobility, golf cart, household, and specialty needs. The company also provides roadside assistance, battery testing, jump-starts, and on-site battery replacement.

This role is a hands-on position integrating sales, technical duties, and on-road service within a high-performing team. You will operate on a rotating roster, which includes weekends, and will be integral to enhancing customer experience and store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service, both in-store and via telephone.
• Build rapport with customers and effectively close sales.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Test, diagnose, and fit batteries for various applications.
• Undertake roadside assistance tasks, including jump-starts and battery replacements.
• Maintain store presentation and manage stock control.
• Contribute to the overall growth and performance of the business.
• Acquire knowledge of a wide spectrum of battery, power, charging, and accessory products.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of sales and/or retail experience; automotive experience is highly regarded.
• An individual who naturally connects with customers and drives sales.
• A strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset.
• A high level of ownership and accountability.
• Ambition to progress into a management role.
• Physical capability for hands-on work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• An interest in automotive, 4WD, camping, marine, or recreational products is highly regarded.
