Custom Jewellery Designs is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Hillarys, WA. This is a casual position, offering flexibility while delivering excellent customer service within a dynamic retail environment.

As the face of our business, you will assist customers in discovering ideal jewellery pieces, aiming to create memorable shopping experiences. This role is instrumental in driving sales, cultivating customer relationships, and upholding the brand's established high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding jewellery items that align with their needs and preferences.
• Provide detailed product knowledge regarding our custom jewellery collections, materials, and craftsmanship.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing shop floor and display areas.
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory as required.
• Address customer enquiries and concerns professionally, resolving issues where possible.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Support the team in promotional activities and special events.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable, though enthusiastic individuals willing to learn are welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for assisting customers.
• A well-presented appearance and professional demeanour.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong numeracy skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions.
• Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required in retail.
• A genuine interest in jewellery and fashion is an advantage.
