Happytel Retail Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Smartphone Specialist/Sales Assistant for our Hinkler Central store in Bundabunderg, QLD.

Position Details:

• Role: Casual Smartphone Specialist (Repair training will be provided)
• Wage: $34.76 per hour (inclusive of casual loading - junior rates apply)
• Location: Shop 64 Hinkler Central, 16 Maryborough Street, Bundaberg QLD 4670
• Work Type: Casual
• Onsite: Yes

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive training to offer basic smartphone repair services and assist customers in identifying their device issues and needs.
• Provide customers with a memorable shopping experience, offering expert guidance and solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Demonstrate to customers how to maximise their device's features to ensure they derive the most benefit from their technology.
• Collaborate with the store manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.
• Efficiently process orders received in person and over the phone, utilising strong point-of-sale (POS) skills to ensure timely deliveries and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an attractive and organised store layout through effective visual merchandising to improve the shopping experience.

Requirements:

• The ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced retail environment and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve success.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect and engage with customers.
• A dedicated work ethic, ensuring consistency and commitment to your role.
• Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are welcomed.
