Baker's Delight Port Central is seeking a responsible and energetic individual for part-time afternoon Sales Assistant & Closing Supervisor positions. If you excel in customer service, enjoy a dynamic environment, and have a passion for fresh baked goods, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection and accurately processing transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing display of bakery items.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and card payments.
• Supervise and support junior staff members, offering guidance and ensuring efficient task completion.
• Execute all closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, cleaning, securing the premises, and preparing for the next day.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
• Uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment, ideally within food service.
• Demonstrated leadership potential or experience supervising junior staff.
• Reliability and responsibility, with a strong commitment to closing duties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for closing shifts.
