Inspired Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Science Teachers for established public schools in Darwin. These schools are dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering student success through engaging, evidence-based teaching practices. Science teachers are instrumental in cultivating curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for future STEM pathways. Full-time permanent and contract positions are available for commencement in Term 3, Term 4, or the 2027 school year.

Duties:

• Deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Teach across various secondary year levels and Science disciplines.
• Create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives.

Role Requirements:

• Current teacher registration in Australia, or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Relevant secondary teaching qualification.
• Ability to teach Science at the secondary level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and academic achievement.
• Graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
