About St Eugene College: St Eugene College, located in Burpengary, is a co-educational Catholic school catering for students from Prep to Year 12, with an enrolment exceeding 1500 students and a staff of approximately 150. It functions as a dynamic learning community for both its staff and students. Job Summary: St Eugene College is seeking a Teacher with the capacity to instruct in a combination of HPE, Humanities, Technologies, Religion, and Science. The successful candidate will be expected to inspire a passion for learning in students while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education.

Responsibilities:
- Establish a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and adheres to relevant curriculum policies, documents, and practices.
- Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy, evaluate their effectiveness, assess and report on student progress and learning outcomes, and communicate these to students, parents, and the community.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers, and other staff members to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
- Proactively engage in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development.
- Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church underpin learning and teaching.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:
- Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in accordance with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- A commitment to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve optimal educational outcomes for students.
- A passion for supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
- You may be required to be Catholic for this position.
Eligibility and Safeguarding:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
